Works Description:  The project involved the construction of a 2700m2 extension offering of new general teaching accommodation including 18 classrooms, an assembly hall and music wing inclusive of recording studio, ICT suite, science laboratories and technology, food and textile rooms.

Major refurbishment works in the existing school were also undertaken, comprising of electrical rewire and new sub mains; overhaul of the heating system including new boilers, heating and ventilation; internal and external door replacements; refurbishment of various teaching and administration rooms and forming new shower facilities in school changing rooms.

Two new outside play areas were provided under the contract and the school remained fully operational during construction and refurbishment. The project has achieved a BREEAM rating of ‘Very Good‘.
