Works Description: Waterbridge Mews is a landmark development, offering the first shared ownership scheme in Halton. The scheme provides 58 affordable new homes built on a strategic teardrop site next to the Bridgewater Canal; 30 for shared ownership and 28 for rent.

By using MMC methods, the closed panel timber frame superstructures took just 12 weeks to erect - half the time of a similar traditional build. The site was dry in a further 9 weeks - 75% of the usual time. Waterbridge Mews was accident-free, it was dryer and cleaner for the labour force to work on. And there were 25% fewer deliveries and 50% fewer movements of site vehicles when compared to a traditional build of the same size. Noise levels were also 50% less than a traditional build.  Building waste reduced by 60% and 100% of the timber used and 85% of other materials were from sustainable sources.

Seven apprentices and trainees were recruited on the scheme.
