Further Summer Contract Awards for Cruden Construction

Repeat Orders Reinforce Cruden’s Reputation for Quality, Service & Value in Residential Property Construction

Cruden Construction has been awarded two further contracts from existing clients, Rochdale Boroughwide Housing (RBH) and Brook Finch Pogson with a value approaching £5.8m.

Twenty six new homes will be constructed at Longridge Drive, Heywood for RBH, the only mutual housing society jointly owned by tenants and employees.

The new development of 23 houses and 3 bungalows will provide affordable rented accommodation in a mixture of three-person, four-person and six-person properties. The houses will be built on a former council owned-site that has been vacant since a former development was demolished in 2003. This contract follows on from the successful first phase of 12 houses and 2 bungalows completed nearby by Cruden Construction in 2013 with the 26 new properties scheduled to be handed over in the Autumn of 2016.

At George Leigh Street, Ancoats Urban Village, Manchester, Cruden Construction will undertake construction of 14 four storey, four bedroom terraced houses for sale for residential property developer, Brook Finch Pogson.

The development will utilise the site of a former Presbytery which is to be demolished. The 14 houses will be built in two rows of seven properties and incorporate raised garden decks at first storey level with vehicle circulation and integrated double garages under. Works will be completed over a 16 month construction period.

The scheme follows on from a successful contract to construct 12 properties in Edge Lane, Chorlton for the client, which is nearing completion.

We are delighted that both clients who operate in distinctly different sectors of the residential property market, have reaffirmed their trust in Cruden Construction’s abilities to deliver high quality homes, built on time and to budget. The awards are viewed as further confirmation that our absolute commitment to be attentive to customer requirements ensuring quality, service and value at all stages of the development process is the pathway to further success.
