£3m Retail success for Cruden!

Leading developer, Brookhouse Group has selected Cruden Construction to undertake the construction of two new retail stores for Aldi and B&M Stores at Parsonage Retail Park, Leigh.

Construction works commenced on 7th December 2015 and will be completed by late June 2016. The stores are the next phase of the Leigh Retail Park’s growth and will provide a total of 3843m2, of floor space as well as additional car parking. The Brookhouse Group has an extensive property portfolio that covers more than 1.5 million ft2 of space spanning across the retail, commercial, healthcare and residential sectors.

Their expertise has supported a vast range of developments, from regeneration projects to new retail parks from listed building conversions to the construction of healthcare developments. Aldi opened its first UK store in 1990 and now has over 520 stores across the UK and Ireland offering over 1300 products at the best possible price, whilst B&M was formed in 1978 and is now one of the leading variety retailers in the UK, with over 450 stores, selling top branded products at great prices. Both retailers have ambitious UK investment and development programmes.

Cruden Construction is delighted to be working with Architects, Cassidy & Ashton and to be assisting Brookhouse Group to increase the shopping offer at Parsonage Retail Park, Leigh which will make it even more successful.
